Focus and Scope

Polingua : Scientific Journal of Linguistics, Literature and Language Education accept original research, conceptual, and best practice articles related to Linguistics,  Literature and Language Education.  

The journal Focus include (but not limited to) the followings:

Linguistics; Macro and Micro Linguistics. Translation.

Literature; Popular and Minority Literature. 

Language Education: Language Teaching and Learning. Language Assessment. English for Spesific Purposes. ICT in Language Teaching

Peer Review Process

Polingua is committed to peer-review integrity and upholding the standards of review. Once your paper has been assessed for suitability by the editor, it will then be single-blind peer reviewed by independent, anonymous reviewers. Peer review follows a number of stages:

Step 1: Editorial evaluation

The  submitted manuscript will be evaluated by Editor whether the manuscript relevant to Polingua's focus and scope, has a major methodological flaw and following the journal's guideline.  At this first stage,  The editor might reject the article, but those that meet the minimum criteria will be passed on to the reviewer. 

Step 2: First round of peer review

The editor will find potential reviewers. The manuscript will be Single Blind Reviewed by independent and anonymous reviewers. Reviewers' comments are then sent to the corresponding author for necessary actions and responses. The reviewer also advise the editor whether to publish the manuscript or not.

Step 3: Revise and resubmit

Author can then revise the article based on the reviewers’ comments, resubmitting it with any or all changes made. Author may be asked to make further revisions or the manuscript may be rejected if the editor thinks that the revisions you have made are not adequate. Editor’s decision is final.

 

 

Publication Frequency

Paper Submission Date: Anytime

Acceptance Notification: 2-4 Months from Submission Date

Online Publication Date: Last date of March and October

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
